I had already made up my mind about not posting my mail here anymore, because it's so tiresome and uninteresting to read, but I decided I would post this letter since I really did a good job writing it:

Alas, I was deeply sorrowed I made thee feel that uncomfortable. I do offer the humblest apologies for my behavior --I had no excuse. But as thee knows, dear friend, my health hath not been at its best lately and hath indeed given me a wee bit of trouble. I have been many a time with the physician and the apothecary and I am most happy to announce my health has been satisfactorily restored. Sadly, I also suffer from vapors whilst among a lot of company, regardless of how great and fine these gentlemen and ladies may be, thus I am intent on keeping away from large crowds and hence, from parties altogether.

However, this does not include thine company, which is always most pleasurable, enjoyable and delightful; so I allow myself to repeat my deep shame at hearing I had hurt thine feelings. Please do accept my apologies.

Hence I proceed to extend you the most gracious invitation to our dwellings once we have made them hospitable. We shall be honored if thee chose to provide us with thine always excellent company. This shall be possible in about a month, pray God. We are planning, as I said, on a little reunion with other artists and musicians and I am perfectly sure thee will find the company exceedingly great and commendable.

In the meantime I would be tremendously happy to see you; mayhap we could arrange on a little lunch or mayhap we could dine together. I shall be waiting for a response from thee or rather, a telephone call, since due to the bureucratic annoyances of these our times the telephone company hath indeed determined we are not worthy to issue any calls.

I do pray thee will keep in mind that I, your truliest friend who loves you heartily, am exceedingly crazy and cannot bear the company of more than four people at the same time so, I am sorry to say, parties are absolutely out of the question. Ask Lady Arwen if thee find this impossible to believe.

My most sincere apologies and all my heart go to you, my dearest friend,

Lady Dragon
