Yeah well, here I go with my boring shit again.
OK, here's what I've decided:
1. I'm gonna take the test again. For Classical Literature. In June.
Now, if I happen to pass it, if by chance I keep my bravery long enough to register (August):
2. I'll take the morning shift, which is from 8 am to 3 pm. I'll keep my job here in the office (only I'll come in the afternoons), pay my share of the rent and maybe the electricity (bimonthly) or the credit card fees (monthly), and Belendor has made a pledge he'll take care of everything else*.
[* I do not quite let myself believe him. I mean, I have tons of faith in him, he's very capable and talented, but let's remember here he's a musician, OK? Economically, this translates into: he'll do great in one month and won't have work for the three immediate months. But I've chosen not to worry. I'll let him do the worrying now.]
3. I know that I can get good grades just by showing up (I don't want to sound presumptuous, but that's what happened last time), so if I apply myself I'm positive I'll be able to get excellent grades. So, maybe after a year has gone by, I'll be able to start applying for subventions. Here I have the advantage that the college itself is for free, so if I can get what they call here an "cash incentive for outstanding students", that will be outright awesome. If I can get two, I might very well contemplate the posibility that I may become a professional student.
4. Guys, I'm doing it. I'm going for it. I'm mildly scared shitless.
I mean, I'm basically commiting to starving ourselves to death for the next five years. But hey, I will be able to say "I'm so hungry I could eat a horse" in Latin. Cool, huh?
By the way, gals, thanks for all the commentaries I'll get back at you, OK? Have a nice weekend!
