So good news: I have a new job!
It's only a telemarketing gig, no big deal, bilingual customer service.... but it's money. 400 bucks a month, plus the 300 I'm making now, that spells M-O-O-N. I'm starting next monday.
The only downside is that this job is full time, 6 days a week... and the rest day is on weekdays. So this will be the last full weekend I'll enjoy for some time. The rest of the week, working 12 hours a day.... sheesh let's see how that works.
I have to do it. There's no other way. And it's good news isn't it?? Hell yeah.
Worst case scenario: Bel doesn't make the band lift off this year either, and I'll be supporting him another year. I'll still be able to keep the apartment... saving marginally less than I'm intending to right now... but if that happens, I'll motion we should move out immediately. If by, say June nothing's happening, I'm leaving camp and that's it.
Best case scenario: Bel starts making some money.... and then I can save up to 400, maybe 450 dollars a month... and then, by the end of the year, I'm outta here.
*hums softly to herself*
Tomorrow, my birthday. Tomorrow, a quarter of a century ago, I was being pushed out into the harsh light.
25.
Sounds like I should be an adult now. Somehow I feel more childlike than ever.
This has to be a good year for me. HAS to be. HAS to be. HAS to be.
