where did last week go?
pray tell!

how is time going by so fast? I can't seem to be able to swat it flat.
I love smoking pot, have I said that lately? it does not only make go away all the maladies --quirks, pains, aches, shakes, nausea and sighting of divine visions-- that are half my problem most of the time, it actually makes me feel that, some day, I will have a sense of what's to be fun again.
and how do those two paragraphs relate to one another? ah, interesting question. I'll ignore it for now.
the truth is, my sense of time may be slipping away like water, but you can bet I've been getting things done, by man-Jesus. my plants are lush --or at least, the best they've been since the catastrophe after I left them for a five weeks to go play Florence Frigging Nightingale in veracruz; my book is steadily getting translated; I've been getting done a lot of outside work. I've been keeping up with my friends. I even met with a cousin I hadn't seen in four years; I attended and said very correct sensitive things at a funeral of my grandma's last living brother. I've taken my cats to the vet, I've kept my doctor appointments and I have been taking my medicine.
In other words, I've been doing stuff. I'm not concerned about anything else; as long as I'm still getting things done, there's nothing wrong. all I want to do is go FORWARD. avante, soldati, avante!
about my uncle's funeral: when the casket was rolled out, everyone applauded. it lasted for more than a minute. I thought I was keeping a very cold front until then, but that made me choke up.
good week to everyone! keep that chin up!
